I am going to tell you a bit about myself and my approach to the therapies I offer.
I believe that issues we perceive with food or weight are trying to teach us something about ourselves. At times in life we cannot see what is going on for ourselves and we need a kind, gentle hand to help us find our way. What I aim do with all my clients, guide them to understand why they have created issues with food/body shape at this time in their life so they can let go and live a happy, carefree life.
I draw on many Spirit, Mind, body techniques such as CBT, CBT-E, mindfulness, positive psychology approaches, emotional freedom technique (EFT) and coaching.
I bring to each session my own experience of recovery and much more; my approach is grounded in warmth, and empathy. I provide a safe environment where I hold the space for individuals as we address the various challenges they are encountering and teach practical tools, and skills to help my clients overcome any issues they are experiencing in the present moment so they may flourish and find peace. My Approach is rooted in expanding clients "Awareness" so they can let go of any limiting beliefs holding them back.
I studied through the National Centre for Eating Disorders
